Houses by 1 euro put up for sale in Italy

October 20, Fineko/abc.az. Italian commune Pratola Peligna, located in Abruzzo region, announced the sale of houses for one euro.

The settlement is located half an hour's drive from major ski resorts and at the same distance from the Adriatic coast.

In total, more than 250 houses are put up for sale. At the same time, the houses are of different sizes and, more importantly, of different condition, some of them require very serious repairs.

At that, local authorities state that their rules for purchasing real estate differ from other regions, since they do not require a deposit from buyers.

With a house value of 1 euro the deposit reached up to 5,000 euro, in order for the owners to repair them, and the buyer of the property also risked a fine of 10,000 euro if construction plans were not submitted within the first six months.
