Oil falls in value, and Brent is at $85.68 a barrel

October 21, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are falling in Thursday’s trading after an increase in the previous trading amid the data about fuel reserves in the U.S.

By 9:15 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the December’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.14 (0.16%) to $85.68 per barrel. Following the trading on 20 October, the Brent crude futures for December increased in price by $0.74 (0.87%) up to $85.82 per barrel.

By 9:15 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for December decreaesd in price by $0.01 (0.01%) to $83.41 per barrel. Following the trading on 20 October, the price of December’s WTI oil futures grew by $0.98 (1.19%) up to $83.42 per barrel.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, country’s commercial oil reserves lowered by 431,000 barrels last week to 426.54 million barrels, gasoline reserves by 5.368 million barrels to 217.74 million barrels, distillates by 3.913 million barrels to 125.39 million barrels.
