Total assets of Azerbaijan's banking system exceed AZN 34 bn

October 22, Fineko/abc.az. The total assets of the banking system of Azerbaijan as of 30 September 2021 amounted to AZN 34.526 bn, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

As of 1 January 2021 the assets of banks in Azerbaijan reached AZN 32.55 bn. Thus, for Jan-Sept the assets of banks increased by 7.7%.

The loan portfolio of banks at the end of September totaled AZN 15.538 bn (a rise of 9.8% against the indicator at the end of 2020).
