Azerbaijan exported for $14.6 bn over Jan-Sept

October 29, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of Jan-Sept 2021 Azerbaijan's total exports amounted to $14.6 bn, including nonoil export from Azerbaijan for $1.8 bn.

According to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, nonoil exports grew by 40.9% compared with Jan-Sept 2020.

According to the Center, in the structure of country’s exports the main volume accounted for gold - $158.2 million (a rise of 5.5%), raw cotton - $149.5 million (a rise of 80.8%), tomatoes - $128.2 million (decline of 23.6%), polypropylene - $86.9 million (a rise of 64%), primary polyethylene with density below 0.94 - $71.9 million (a rise of 2.4 times), hazelnuts - $55.9 million (decline of 17%), polymer substances of primary form - $51.4 million ( for Jan-Sept 2020, it was not exported), primary polyethylene with density above 0.94 - $50.4 million (a rise of 75.6%).

In general, for the past 9 months of 2021 country’s sugar exports increased 2.1-fold, ferrous metals and products from them - 2.3 times, cotton fiber - 3.3 times, aluminum and aluminum products - by 55.8%, chemical industry products - 2.1 times.
