November 12, Fineko/abc.az. If we want the Pension Fund to reach income, this means a commitment of AZN 1 bn. 

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by Labor & Social Protection Minister Sahil Babayev. The minister said that this is not considered important from angle of current priorities. 

According to the minister, under conditions of such priorities the state faces today, we don’t consider it important for the Pension Fund to reach income. 
"We are thinking about switching to investment activity next year. We want to direct funds from our reserves to investment activities. We pay pension payments in advance for 1 month. Our formed reserves allow it. Next year we predict that our reserves will reach 400-500 million manats," Babayev said.
