Internet scammers have once again started sending messages about the opportunity to win gifts and make a profit on behalf of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and other companies, ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOCAR’s statement. The purpose of such mailings is to obtain personal data of citizens. "SOCAR strongly states that it does not offer the opportunity to win prizes and make a profit by conducting surveys or contests via the Internet. All company announcements are published only on website socar.az. We recommend everyone to be careful not to fall into the trap of scammers,” the company stated.
