Banks with reduced interest income

November 18, Fineko/abc.az. The interest income of some banks operating in Azerbaijan for Jan-Sept 2021 turned out lower compared with the same period of 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned banks are Azer-Turk Bank, BTB Bank, Muğan Bank, Premium Bank, Xalq Bank, Azerbaijan Industrial Bank and AFB Bank, the Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan.

The largest decrease was recorded on AFB Bank (39.7%) and the lowest - on Azer-Turk Bank (1.1%).
Other banks increased their interest income. The highest dynamics was recorded on Bank VTB Azerbaijan OJSC (75.4%) and the lowest – on Access Bank (1.4%).
