Azerbaijan unveils number of operating greenhouses

November 19, Fineko/abc.less. Azerbaijan is numbering 3,174 greenhouses with total area of 1,500 hectares as of 1 October 2021.
 
ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that compared with Jan-Sept 2020, production of tomatoes (the main crop grown in greenhouses) increased by 19.8% up to 279,100 tons and cucumbers by 24.2% up to 18,200 tons.
