November 19, Fineko/abc.az. "A nuclear power plant (NPP) can be built in Kazakhstan," ABC.AZ reports citing Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Kazakh leader noted that the relevant decision will be made in the near future.

"The first signs of shortage of electricity in Kazakhstan are already being felt," he said.
Experts consider it a landmark event for Kazakhstan. They believe the NPP will benefit for the country both politically and economically. So, millions of dollars will go to the budget of Kazakhstan, which will sell electricity to the nearest countries at the expense of nuclear power plants."
