November 19, Fineko/abc.az. Business entities that have received the status of regular users in the Green Corridor pass system have special advantages in carrying out import and export operations. Such economic entities may bring imported goods directly to their warehouses into the territory of the country, and in case of presentation of a customs declaration, with the consent of the customs authorities, independently remove customs identification means (seals, etc.) from the vehicles on which the goods are transported and unload their goods.

This was stated in an interview by State Customs Committee’s chair Safar Mehdiyev.

He noted that since 2019, 1033 foreign trade participants have applied in connection with obtaining the right to permanent use of the Green Corridor pass system. Of them, 262 participants in foreign trade for export operations, 482 participants in foreign trade for import operations, a total of 744 participants in foreign trade were granted the right to permanent use of the Green Corridor system.
