Loan portfolio of banks in Azerbaijan amounts to AZN 15.957 bn

November 22, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 October the loan portfolio of the country's banking and other credit institutions in the equivalent of the national currency amounted to AZN 15.957 bn.
 
 
 
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the share of long-term loans accounts for AZN 13.69 bn or 81.9% of the total loan portfolio. 97.4% of loans were given by banks, and 2.6% by non-bank credit organizations and credit unions. The amount of overdue loans totaled AZN 871.1 million (5.5% of the total loan portfolio).
