November 23, Fineko/abc.az. The US dollar is also getting more expensive against the Turkish lira. ABC.AZ reports that the US dollar/TL exchange rate has approached the level of 12 liras. At 11:37 on Baku time, the dollar/TL rate increased by 4.6% up to 11.9950 liras. Experts attribute the growth of the dollar to the fact that on 22 November, US President Joe Biden introduced Jerome Powell, the current chairman of the Federal Reserve System, as a candidate for the second term.
