Azerbaijani government gave subsidized loans for AZN 2.1 bn to entrepreneurs

April 18, Fineko/abc.az. The National Entrepreneurship Support Fund (NESF) has given loans for AZN 2.1 bn.

NESF executive director Shirzad Abdullayev has stated that 34,963 entrepreneurs were given subsidized loans for the period of Fund's activity.

"About 160,000 new jobs were created at the expense of the given loans. 71% of subsidized loans were allocated for financing projects in agriculture, 29% in industrial and other sectors. 75% of loans were given to entrepreneurs in districts of the country and 25% in the capital," Abdullayev said.
