Foreign Internet companies to pay taxes in Kazakhstan

November 25, Fineko/abc.az. Foreign Internet companies that sell goods and render services in Kazakhstan will have to pay VAT from next year.
 
ABC.AZ reports that the relevant provision was reflected in the amendments and additions to the Code on Taxes & Other Mandatory Payments to the Budget approved by the Senate of the Parliament. From 1 January 2022 the Tax Code envisages a simplified procedure for registration and payment of VAT by foreign Internet companies providing goods and services in Kazakhstan.
