Oil prices grow, and Brent is at $69.28 a barrel

December 2, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Thursday’s trading after decline the day before.

By 09:20 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the February’s Brent crude futures grew by $0.41 (0.60%) up to $69.28 per barrel. Following the trading on 1 December, the Brent crude futures for February decreased in price by $0.36 (0.52%) to $68.87 per barrel.

By 09:20 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for January rose in price by $0.45 (0.69%) up to $66.02 per barrel. Following the trading on 1 December, the price of January’s WTI oil futures fell by $0.61 (0.92%) to $65.57 per barrel.

In November 2021, Brent crude oil fell by 16% and WTI oil by 21%.

Data from the U.S. Department of Energy showed decline in country’s oil reserves over the past week by 900,000 barrels.
