December 8, Fineko/abc.az. Iran, Azerbaijan and Georgia have agreed on the creation of a transit route connecting the Persian Gulf with the Black Sea.

ABC.AZ reports that two meetings were held on the occasion with Azerbaijan and Georgia (in connection with road transport).

"We have offered the two countries an initiative to create a new transit corridor for regional rapprochement. Of course, this plan was proposed eight years ago, but it has not yet been implemented due to the involvement of many countries in this agreement, and the parties have not been able to reach consensus. The creation of this new route can connect the Persian Gulf with the Black Sea," representatives of the Iranian government said.
