New requirements imposed for Azerbaijani banks

December 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has put forward a demand to banks operating in the country to bring the security of information systems in accordance with ISO 27000 standards.

ABC.AZ reports that this was announced by CBA information technology director Anar Guliyev.

He said this at the 5th International Banking Forum "Cashless Economy: Reliable, Safe & Sustainable" in Baku.

According to Guliyev, the time given to banks to fulfill this requirement is until next April.
