December 13, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov of this year 3,367 people received unemployment insurance payments in Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection of the Population.

Persons whose employment relations were terminated as a result of the liquidation of a state body or a legal entity, if they have 12 months of insurance experience in the last 24 months, can be assigned an unemployment insurance payment in the amount of 50% of the lost average monthly salary.

"If these persons have no experience in unemployment insurance for the last 24 calendar months for 12 months and, as a rule, if they have experience for 1 year, an unemployment insurance payment is established in the amount of the minimum insurance payment," according to the Agency.
