December 20, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the amendments to Presidential Decree #1229 dated December 30, 2020 "On the establishment of the presidential scholarship for persons who have worked for at least 25 years at scientific institutions and organizations or educational institutions at their main place of work, where the corresponding registration is conducted in the work book, who have an academic degree, and who are entitled to labor pension.”

ABC.AZ reports that the amount of the presidential scholarship awarded to persons who have worked for at least 25 years at scientific institutions and organizations or educational institutions at their main place of work, who have academic degree, who are entitled to labor pension, has been increased from 200 up to 300 and from 120 up to 200 manats, respectively, at the place of the corresponding registration in the work book.

This decree will come into force on 1 January 2022.
