SOCAR employees' salaries to increase

December 20, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is going to increase salaries of its employees, ABC.AZ reports citing SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev.

"Our salaries are increasing in accordance with the increase of the minimum wage in the country. The increase of salaries at SOCAR is expected starting from next year," he emphasized.

In compliance with the presidential decree signed last week, from 1 January 2022 the minimum wage in Azerbaijan will increase by 50 manats or 20% – from 250 manats up to 300 manats.
