December 22, Fineko/abc.az. The working group on unblocking regional communications is discussing the option of phased opening of railway Yeraskh (Arazdeyen) - Goradiz.

ABC.AZ reports that Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said about this.

According to Grigoryan, one of the options discussed was the opening of communications from Nakhchivan to Iran, without waiting for the construction of a new railway on the Meghri and Minjivan-Goradiz sections:

"The possibility of opening any communication line that can be implemented using the existing infrastructure is certainly desirable for us. But this is a topic of negotiations, and I cannot yet say what agreement we will come to.”
