Oil continues rising in value, and Brent is at $75.47 a barrel

December 23, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are growing in Thursday's trading.

By 9:08 a.m., at the London ICE Futures Exchange the February’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.18 (0.24%) up to $75.47 per barrel. Following the trading on 22 December, the price of Brent crude futures for February grew by $1.31 (1.77%) up to $75.29 per barrel.

By 9:08 a.m., at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for February increased in price by $0.19 (0.26%) up to $72.95 per barrel. Following the trading on 22 December, the price of February’s WTI oil futures grew by $1.64 (2.31%) up to $72.76 per barrel.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, country’s commercial oil reserves decreased by 4.72 million barrels last week. Oil reserves in the U.S. have declined for the fourth week in a row. Gasoline stocks increased by 5.53 million barrels and distillates by 396,000 barrels.
