Deputy Economy Minister: Azerbaijan's non-oil exports increased by 44%

December 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's economy grew by 5.3% and the non-oil sector by 6.4% for Jan-Nov 2021, ABC.AZ reports citing Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Alekperov, when delivering speech at scientific & practical conference "Karabakh: The new panorama of the South Caucasus opening to the world".

The deputy minister noted that country's non-oil export grew by 44% and is expected to exceed $2.6 bn by the end of this year.

"Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves have reached $53 bn. For the first 10 months of this year the budget received taxes for AZN 1.3 bn more than predicted. First of all, it is linked with ensuring of transparency," Alekperov emphasized.
