Global economy to break mark of $100 trillion in 2022

December 27, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Economic & Business Research (CEBR) has prepared a report on the economy of the countries of the world.

ABC.AZ reports that according to CEBR forecasts, the world economy will break the mark of $100 trillion for the first time in 2022.

India's economy will continue to grow: next year it will surpass France, and in 2023 – the UK, taking the 6th place in the world ranking.

Speaking about the Russian economy, CEBR experts believe that it may be in world Top 10 no earlier than in 2036.

Germany, Europe's largest economy, will overtake Japan's economy in 2033.

In 2036, the Top 10 economies of the world will include China, the U.S., India, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, France, Indonesia, Brazil, and Russia.

Canada, which has benefited from rapid economic growth after Covid-19, will take 11th place, South Korea - 12th, Italy - 13th, Australia - 14th, Spain - 15th, Mexico - 16th, Saudi Arabia - 17th, Netherlands - 18th, Turkey - 19th, and Vietnam - 20th.
