Apple to work with virtual SIM cards

December 27, Fineko/abc.az. Apple will release the first smartphone without a SIM card connector in 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that it will be replaced by eSIM technology, which allows recording one or more numbers on the phone without being tied to a physical carrier.

According to insiders, the American company may abandon the classic SIM cards by September 2022, by the release of the iPhone 14.

After the refusal, Apple will work with eSIM, that is, virtual SIM cards.

This will allow dialing one or more numbers on the phone without physical connection to the operator.
