Oil soars after launch of negotiations with Iran

December 28, Fineko/abc.az. Oil jumped in cost sharply on Monday evening after the start of the eighth round of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program in Vienna.

ABC.AZ reports that the price of March’s Brent futures rose by 3.25% up to $78.65 per barrel, reaching the highest in the last month.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan confirmed Tehran's irreconcilable position on the eve of the Vienna meeting, demanding the immediate and complete lifting of the oil embargo imposed by the Donald Trump administration in 2018.
