Uranium prices surge by 8%

January 6, Fineko/abc.az. The cost of uranium has grown by 8% up to $45.25 per pound.

News agency Bloomberg informs that the price of uranium on world trading platforms has risen sharply due to the situation in Kazakhstan.

At that, the shares of Kazakh company Kazatomprom, engaged in the extraction of natural uranium, fell by 8.8% at the London Stock Exchange.
