Oil reserves in the U.S. lowered

January 6, Fineko/abc.az. Commercial oil reserves in the U.S. decreased by 2.14 million barrels last week.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. oil reserves as of Dec.31 amounted to 417.85 million barrels.

Economists had expected the oil reserves to decline by 3.65 million barrels.

After the publication of the data, the price of Brent crude oil grew up to $81, but then dropped to $79.
