January 11, Fineko/abc.az. The banknote with face value of 50 manats, issued by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan in circulation since the beginning of 2021, has been included among the finalists of the international competition.

ABC.AZ reports that banknotes of various countries, including Great Britain, Australia, Mexico, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Singapore, the Philippines, etc., were presented at contest "The most perfect new banknote of 2022". Banknotes were issued by central banks of these countries in 2021.

In November 2021, a new banknote with face value of 50 manats became the winner in nomination "Banknote with the most reliable protection system" at an international conference organized by the International Hologram Manufacturers’ Association (IHMA) in the UK.
