Central Bank: Monetary base has grown in Azerbaijan

January 11, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 January 2022 the monetary base in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 17.937 bn (by AZN 3.658 bn or 25.6% more compared with 1 December 2021), according to the CBA.

As of 30 December 2020, the monetary base in Azerbaijan was AZN 13.56 bn. Consequently, in 2021, the monetary base increased by AZN 4.37 bn or by 32.25%.
