Amount of finances paid to medical workers fighting the pandemic made public

January 11, Fineko/abc.az. For the relevant months of 2021 about AZN 12.4 million were paid to participants in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in the form of short-term allowances, bonuses and lump-sum rewards.

ABC.AZ informs that in October and November 2021 the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance paid an overtime allowance of about AZN 8.9 million to medical workers participating in measures to combat a new type of coronavirus infection, and about AZN 1.9 million to non–medical workers.

In October and November of 2020 medical workers of private medical institutions involved in measures to combat a new type of coronavirus infection were paid an urgent surcharge in the amount of 4,056.70 manats in proportion to the time worked.

All salary deductions that must be paid by the employee are accrued from the total amount.

In October and November, the volunteers were paid a bonus of 2,250 manats, provided that the monthly income is 250 manats per person.

No salary deductions are accrued from this amount.
