January 14, Fineko/abc.az. It became known that flights from Baku and Yerevan to Istanbul (Turkey) have a big difference.

So, if on 2 February the cost of a flight from Yerevan to Istanbul (Flyone Armenia) is 75 manats, then a ticket from Baku to Istanbul (AZAL Airlines) already costs 270 manats.

ABC.AZ reports that AZAL press service’s head Pasha Kesamansky said that the prices for 2 February were taken as a sample.

"As you know, airlines do not have fixed fares – air ticket prices are not always stable, they are determined and grow depending on supply and demand, aircraft occupancy, the date of their purchase, seasonal fluctuations associated with holidays, and the duration of vacations, demand for them. In addition, the minimum fare for all routes of low-cost airline Buta Airways will be cut to 29 euro, as it was before the coronavirus pandemic. It will be officially announced in the coming days," Kesamansky stressed.

Turkey has allowed Armenian airline Flyone Armenia to operate flights via route Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan. The first flight is scheduled for 2 February.
