Statistics: Number of salaried employees has increased

January 14, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan has published information on the salaries of wage and salary earners in the country.

ABC.AZ informs that for Jan-Oct 2021 the average monthly nominal wage of salaried employees in the domestic economy increased by 2.6% (versus Jan-Oct 2020) up to 722.9 manats.

As of 1 December 2021, the number of wage and salary workers in the country's economy grew by 20,400 people, or 1.2% (against Jan-Oct 2020) to 1.704 million people, including 905,700 people in the public sector and 799,200 in the private sector.
