Another low-cost airline plans to launch flights to Baku

January 24, Fineko/abc.az. Oman's low-cost airline SalamAir plans to fly to Baku this year, ABC.AZ reports, citing airline’s CEO Mohammed Ahmed.

According to the CEO, SalamAir will acquire a new Airbus A321 aircraft in February, thereby bringing its fleet up to 8 aircrafts:

"The new aircraft will help the company achieve its expansion plan next summer. In particular, the company plans to operate flights in a new direction in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Turkey. Among these new destinations are Baku, Sarajevo, Osh and Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Trabzon in Turkey.”
