Oil falls in price, and Brent is at $87.95 a barrel

January 26, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are declining in Wednesday’s trading after a jump following the the previous session.

According to the American Petroleum Institute, oil reserves in the U.S. decreased by 872,000 barrels last week after rising by 1.404 million barrels a week earlier.

By 9:15 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the March’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.25 (0.28%) to $87.95 per barrel. Following the trading on 25 January, the price of Brent crude futures for March rose by $1.93 (2.24%) up to $88.20 per barrel.

By 9:15 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for March fell in price by $0.40 (0.47%) to $85.20 per barrel. Following the trading on 25 January, the price of March WTI oil futures soared by $2.29 (2.75%) up to $85.60 per barrel.
