Purchase prices for cotton are rising

January 26, Fineko/abc.az. Following discussions with cotton producers, the purchase price for raw cotton in Azerbaijan will be increased by 50 manats this year, ABC.AZ reports, citing Agriculture Minister Inam Kerimov as saying this at a meeting on cotton production in Salyan.

According to the minister, in the harvest season of 2022, each ton of cotton will be purchased from farmers for 650-750 manats, depending on the variety: "In the future, the issue may be brought up for discussion again."
