January 26, Fineko/abc.az. The list of the most popular cars in Europe has been published.

ABC.AZ reports that hatchback Volkswagen Golf has been leading the European market since 2008. In 2021, more than 205,000 Volkswagen Golf cars were sold in Europe.

Peugeot 208 became the 2nd most popular (196,900 cars; -1.1%), Dacia Sandero lagged behind it quite a bit (196,800 cars; +16.9%).

Top 5 is closed by Renault Clio (196,200 cars; -21.1%) and Peugeot 2008 (194,700 cars; +24.4%).

Top 10 of the best-selling cars in Europe also included Volkswagen T-Roc (186,600 cars; +17.1%), Toyota Yaris (182,600 cars; +1.3%), Opel/Vauxhall Corsa (180,600 cars; -8.7%), Fiat 500 (174,700 cars; +24%) and Citroen C3 (159,300 cars; +7%).
