Hotel revenues in Azerbaijan increased by 79% in 2021

January 26, Fineko/abc.az. The hotels in Azerbaijan observed an increase for 2021.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that last year the hotel revenues grew by 79.1% (versus 2020) up to AZN 209.2 million.

59.7% of income was received from room services, 28.9% from catering services, 2.5% from treatment and healthcare services, and 8.9% from other services.

In 2021, the use of one-time capacity of hotels made up 11.2% (in 2020 - 6.5%).

This indicator is 82.2% in Shabran, 25.5% in Beylagan, 22.2% in Guba, 21% in Naftalan, 19.1% in Lankaran, 16.2% in Gabala, 14.2% in Baku, 14% in Agjabedi, 13% in Barda, 12.9% in Goychay, 12.9% in Jalilabad, 12% in Sabirabad, 11.7% in Shamkir, 11.2% in Shemakha. In other cities and districts it was below average by country.
