F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix begins today

April 27, Fibeko/abc.az. Formula 1 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan which has been held in Baku for the third year in a row has started

Formula 2 will also be held during three days, along with F1 competitions. F1 free races will be held on 27 April. The first free practice session will take place at 13:00-14:30 and the second one from 17:00 to 18:30.

The third free practice session will take place at 14:00-15:00 on 28 April and the qualifying round at 17:00-18:00. Track parade of the pilots will be conducted the next day at 14:40-15:10. The national anthem of Azerbaijan will be played at 15:56, and F1 Azerbaijani Grand Prix 2018 will start at 16:10. The competition will cover 51 laps or 120 minutes.

12:00 - 13:05. Formula 2 – First Race (29 laps or 60 minutes)

14:00 - 15:00. Formula 1 – Third Free Practice Session

17:00 - 18:00. Formula 1 – Qualifying Round

April 29

13:10 - 14:00. Formula 2 –Second Race (21 laps or 45 minutes)

14:40 - 15:10. The parade of Pilots

15:00 - 15:25. Opening Ceremony

15:56 - 15:58. National Anthem

16:10 - 18:00. Formula 1 Grand Prix (51 laps or 120 minutes)
