Inflation to form in the 6.6-7.7% corridor this year

January 28, Fineko/abc.az. This year, inflation is expected to be at the upper limit of the target range, ABC.AZ reports, citing Central Bank’s chair Elman Rustamov, delivering speech at an online press conference, devoted to the parameters of the percentage corridor.

Inflation will be formed in the range of 6.6-7.7% this year.

According to CBA chair, in 2023, inflation will return to the center of the target range (2-6%).

The average annual inflation in Azerbaijan was 6.7% last year. In December alone, annual inflation was 12%.
