February 1, Fineko/abc.az. According to Presidential Decree from 29 December 2021, the assignment of title “War Veteran” and monthly presidential scholarship to the Patriotic War participants began.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection of the Population that initially, on the basis of the list agreed by the State Security Service and the State Border Service with the Cabinet Ministers, the servicemen of these structures who participated in hostilities for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in the period from 27 September to 10 November 2020, were awarded the “War Veteran” title.

Data on the SBS participants is included in the MLSP subsystem Zafar.

From the moment of the appointment of the monthly presidential scholarship to a war veteran, an SMS will be sent to the phone number indicated in the name of the person, as well as about in which bank the war veteran should receive the scholarship card.
