The most expensive foods for past month

February 11, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2022, the consumer price index (inflation index) increased by 12.5% compared with January 2021, including for foods, beverages and tobacco products by 17.1%, non-foods by 105.9%, paid services to the population by 11.1%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that CPI for January 2022 grew by 1.6% compared with the previous month.

In January 2022, the CPI for foods, beverages and tobacco products increased by 2.6% against December 2021.

In January of this year, compared with the previous month, an increase in prices for individual food products was observed for bread, flour, buckwheat, pasta, lamb, beef and chicken, fresh and frozen fish, cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, condensed and sterilized whole milk, butter, pomegranates, quince, tangerines, persimmons, bananas, apples, pears, pears, tomatoes, pumpkin, potatoes, onions, garlic, apples, bananas, apples, pears, cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkin, potatoes, lentils, sugar and granulated sugar, sweets, cocoa powder, lemonade, beer, vodka, tobacco products.
