Cargo carriages from Azerbaijan to Ukraine halted

February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The military actions currently taking place on the territory of Ukraine have seriously affected cargo transportation.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Rufat Bayramov, National Secretary of the Intergovernmental Commission on Azerbaijan of the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA).

He noted that the TRACECA Secretariat was in touch with Ukraine.

"The situation is quite tense now. The activity of the ports has almost stopped. Currently, the Ukrainian side does not send or accept new cargo. There is only work on the withdrawal of the remaining cars in the country," he added.
