MPs listened to annual report of national coordinator on combating human trafficking

May 4, Fineko/abc.az. Milli Mejlis has adopted the annual report of national coordinator for combating human trafficking and first deputy internal affairs minister Vilayat Eyvazov.

According to Eyvazov, 142 facts related to human trafficking were revealed as a result of search operations conducted in 2017 by the Main Department of Combating Human Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Of them, six ones related to forced labor and 26 ones to illegal actions with documents. Eight criminal groups consisting of 17 people were neutralized. More than 70 persons (66 women and 5 men), who were victims of such crimes, have been identified.

After Eyvazov's speech the MPs put the report to the vote and adopted it.
