Sowing on an area of 100 hectares to be carried out in Karabakh this year


March 29, Fineko/ 226,000 out of the 260,000 hectares available in Karabakh are covered with forests. According to preliminary data, 56,000 hectares of territory were destroyed.

ABC.AZ reports that this was informed by Vahid Farzaliyev the head of the Afforestation Department of the Forest Development Service.

He says that during the sowing works the relevant work is planned on the layout of these territories: “It is known that there are different heights and forest trees in Karabakh. Therefore, it is planned to plant appropriate plants on the territory. It is planned that during the spring sowing of this year, sowing works will be carried out on an area of 100 hectares. Preference will be given to Arabian oak, long-legged oak and oriental hornbeam.
