Azerbaijan-Georgia border points defined

April 5, Fineko/abc.az. Six checkpoints have been defined for crossing the state border between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the Draft Law on approval of the Azerbaijan-Georgia intergovernmental agreement on checkpoints on the state border between Azerbaijan and Georgia, which was discussed at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

According to the draft, these are the following checkpoints:

Boyuk Kesik (Azerbaijan) – Gardabani (Georgia) railway

Girmizi Korpu (Azerbaijan) – Red Bridge (Georgia), Mazimgara – Tsodna (Georgia)

Ipekyolu (Azerbaijan) – Abreshumis Gza (Georgia)

Sadakhli (Azerbaijan) – Vakhtangisi (Georgia)

Muganli (Azerbaijan) – Samtatskaro (Georgia)

According to the draft, the authorized structures of the parties through protocols will determine the principles of the application of border and customs procedures in connection with goods and vehicles to be transported and cross checkpoint Ipekyolu-Abreshumis Gza.
