Germany approves a 100 bn euro loan to companies

April 8, Fineko/abc.az. In Germany, the government has approved a package of financial support in the amount of 100 bn euro ($109 bn) for companies that have suffered from the war in Ukraine.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that the German government is taking steps to compensate for the damage caused by the war in Ukraine and the sanctions imposed on companies, as well as to support the economy.

Finance Minister Christian Lindner and Economy Minister Robert Havbeck announced in Berlin that the loans will be provided by the State Development Bank KfW.

The ministers also announced that they had agreed on a separate loan program worth up to 7 bn euro for companies experiencing liquidity problems.
