April 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2022, wheat imports in Azerbaijan totaled 150,600 tons (6.8-fold more than a year earlier).

ABC.AZ reports that the total value of wheat imported in the country reached $51.95 million (a rise of 9.2-fold).

Azerbaijan also imported 44,302 tons of raw sugar and sugar (a rise of 34.5%) for $23.657 million (a rise of 1.7-fold), 28,747 tons of vegetable oils (a rise of 1.8-fold) for $43.9 million (a rise of 2.1-fold), 1,745 tons of tea (decline of 9.1%) for $8.378 million (a rise of 15%), 2,726 tons of butter, other oils from milk and pasta (a rise of 40.7%) for $14.7 million (a rise of 60%).

At that, Azerbaijan imported 759.3 tons of cattle meat (decline of 44%) for $3.427 million (decline of 27.8%) and 5,635 tons of poultry meat and poultry products (a rise of 48.5%) for $7.49 million (a rise of 1.8-fold).
