April 18, Fineko/abc.az. The situation in Russia, which has developed as a result of Western sanctions, is getting worse day by day. Thus, the decline in income, rising unemployment and decrease in purchasing power in the country forced banks to reconsider their problem loan portfolios.

ABC.AZ reports that banks have started selling problem loans to collectors at lower prices. With the outbreak of hostilities, only 5-6% of the debts were transferred to collectors.

Along with this, over the past month and a half, that is, since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, the prices of debts transferred to collectors have also fallen.

In Russia, on Debex, an online debt sales system, prices for distressed loan portfolios decreased by 30-50%.
