Cost of wheat imported in Azerbaijan grows, and volume declines

April 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2022 Azerbaijan imported 182,864.17 tons of wheat for $62,391.26, according to the State Customs Committee.

The value of wheat imported into the country increased by 30.6% and its volume fell by 2.7% against Jan-Mar 2021.

In the first 3 months of this year Azerbaijan’s wheat imports made up 2.13% of overall imports.
